Regulate day care?

Dubious, is right.  That's a good word for how this type of regulation would be met.  Does this person requesting more gubment intervention into our already over-controlled lives really believe that's the right answer?  Babies die.  It's a fact.  If I were the mother of that child I'd be looking for reasons more in line with harmful vaccinations and other drugs that parents willingly, stupidly and blindly give their children every day before I'd blame a daycare, unless of course the evidence was REALLY obvious.   How come no one ever really gets down and dirty and talks about sueing the doctors?  Because more often than not, that's were the blame lies.

Until people recognize the dangers of drugs and even today's phake phoods, people who provide needed businesses like day care will always be the fall guys.  It's just crazy.

If her *request* actually gets off the ground, I hope to sam hell they keep it in virginia and don't expand it to include the rest of the usa.  That's all I'd need.  I don't provide *regulated, gubment controlled* day care because I don't WANT to.  My day care is private - meaning private pay (no gubment subsidies accepted here!) and it's privately run because I don't want the gubment telling me whose children I must watch, and setting my hours for me, and blah blah.  No way.  The gubment already has more than enough to control, obviously, or we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now with everything -  all over the country - we don't need them to be nannies for the nannies.  Cripes sakes.
