What caused the drop?? Well, probably the drop in the number of women succumbing to the stupidity of a mammogram, would be my guess. Of course they never mention that in this article.
And in all honesty, the writers at SixWise shouldn't be relying on the ACS for their stats. Nor should they be using CNN or USA Today as "source material". Aren't the SixWise guys the ones who constantly promote science as the means to the end? Then use science, not media gibberish.
Truly, the best way to lower your risk of breast cancer (or any kind of cancer for that matter) is to stay away from modern medicine. PERIOD. Another good point they fail to make.
