Thank God the Senator from Montana has some guts.

It's a lot more than can be said for the Senators from South Dakota. Bunch of gutless wonders.

Not that some good points aren't made, they just don't seem very popular with the small farmers (that term also needs defining, as you will see if you check out the reader comments. Some of those people are very bright and hit the nail on the head). Without the Tester Amendment, small farmers don't stand a chance, I fear. AFAIC, intrastate or interstate doesn't matter. It's moot. People are allowed to bring in all kinds of things from overseas, but let a small farmer bring a load of onions from Montana to South Dakota and you'd think they were hauling H bombs. Good Lord. Who walked off with the common sense wand?
